About Me

Adam Kirk is the morning show news producer, and a news talent for Wokv.

Adam also hosts the “Wokv Just Fishin’ Show” Saturday mornings from 6 to 8 on Wokv.

Adam comes to Jacksonville from Cleveland, Ohio, where he was a news, traffic and sports anchor for Metro Networks/Westwood One, and also a producer/show host for Salem Communications.

Adam is a “jack of all trades”, having worked in many different areas of radio.

Adam began his career as the executive producer and production director for a sports talk website in 2003. The site, SportsTalkCleveland.com, provided live local sports talk shows on the internet, as well as streaming content for Salem Communications’ Sports Talk 850 WKNR.

He was then hired to produce a 3 hour radio talk show, which required extensive audio production and working with voice actors, creating pre-produced scenes. The show aired on Salem and Clear Channel stations before Adam left Cleveland.

Adam also produced or hosted various live shows for WKNR and it’s website, along with Salem’s WHK and WHKW, including the syndicated weeknight talk show “What’s Right What’s Left.” Adam went on to co-host a weekly political talk show on News Talk 1420 WHK, and anchor news and traffic on that same station, as well as AM 1330 AM WELW, 102 WZOO FM, 97.1 WREO FM, and 104.5 WKKY FM in the Cleveland market.

Adam also produced a show that aired on Clear Channel’s News Radio WTAM AM 1100 in Cleveland. Adam attended Lakeland College in Cleveland, and majored in political science and philosophy. You can hear Adam weekdays between 5 am and 9 am on Jacksonville’s Morning News.
